Thor was so patient and explained details of things you wouldn't even think of! He was so kind, patient, and even entertained the kids!! Would definitely do his tour again!! At the end we felt familiar with Paris to take the metro home and use it next day!! Awesome tour!!

Before you book, anything else, book this tour for your first full day in Paris. Thor will show you the ropes! Not only did we get to see all of the best neighborhoods in Paris, learn about covered passages, get amazing restaurant recommendations, and learn some history, but we also got a lesson on how to use the metro and the bus system. This in and of itself was worth the price of the tour ticket! We used what we learned all week and I’m sure it saved us a lot of time and a lot of money. I thoroughly enjoyed the sort of “unstructured” nature of this tour in that we started at our VRBO in Paris and the tour organically unfolded from there. It felt like we met a friend of a friend who was showing us around his favorite city! I took lots of notes along the way so we could have the best week possible in Paris. Be prepared to walk A LOT. It’s the best way to see all that Thor has in store for you. I can’t recommend this highly enough!!!!

A great first day in Paris. Thor took me all over the city, helped me purchase a Navigo card and tried out the metro and busses. Lots of historical knowledge and a native English speaker. I’m traveling solo, so was really helpful in making me feel confident in using public transit (none where I live) and getting around. Definitely worth every penny!
